Former student teacher convicted in drug case at TMP Marian
Patrick S. Chavez pleaded no contest to two counts of possession with intent to sell after a drug dog hit his car in the TMP Marian parking lot and officers found 36.8 pounds of marijuana there and 2.3 pounds at his apartment within 1000 feet of Washington Elementary School. The district court judge found him guilty on the two counts and dropped two related charges.
