Grand Jury to weigh LaCock holdup shooting case

A fatal shooting linked to a weekend robbery of Kansas City Royals first baseman Pete LaCock and friends is headed to a grand jury Friday. The suspects, Alex M. Clark and DeWayne Davis, both 17, face multiple robbery and assault charges. Clark died Monday from a gunshot wound after a scuffle during the holdup near the Country Club Plaza. Davis remains jailed in Jackson County on $10,000 bond.

Kansas Hotel and Motel Association Intervenes in Liquor Case
