Protesters clash at Fontainebleau brunch interruption

Living Costs Rise in July as Prices Jump
Washington AP reports the cost of living rose four tenths of one percent in July driven by a one percent rise in food prices. Average weekly earnings for production workers rose eight tenths of one percent, widening the real earnings gain. Overall buying power increased four tenths, the best since 1964. Meats poultry and fish led price gains at 2.8 percent in July, 10.1 percent higher than a year ago.
