Luncheon highlights local health care and education hires
About 115 people attended a luncheon hosted by the Chamber at Garfield Elementary School to welcome new health care and higher education professionals. The event announced 21 hires across four entities, honored Stan and Becci Shisler with the Quarterly Image Award, and noted AMH Express Care Clinic plans for September to ease ER wait times. University and college staff updates included Dr Russ McCullough, Amber Dickinson, and Luis Hinojosa joining Ottawa University, with McCullough bringing economics expertise and a Wayne Angell Chair of Economics title.
