George Tinsley ninety one formerly of Welda died Saturday August six two thousand eleven at his home in Checotah Oklahoma. Services are set for Tuesday August nine at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service Chapel Colony with burial in Colony Cemetery. He was born January eleven nineteen twenty in a farm north of Moran to John and Clara Tinsley. He was an Army Air Corps veteran and an electrician. He married Kathleen McCollam March fourteen nineteen forty seven in Garnett and survives at home with a son Terry Tinsley a daughter Colleen Gordy two grandchildren a sister Evelyn Simmons and many family and friends. He was preceded in death by a sister Bertha Tinsley.
