Citadel seeks Supreme Court stay to block first woman cadet
The Citadel asked Chief Justice Rehnquist to halt Shannon Faulkner's upcoming admission as the defense of its all male cadet policy reaches the Supreme Court. The move followed a circuit court denial of a stay and amid plans for a separate women’s leadership program at Converse College.
