Public Transportation in Franklin County Serves All Ages
Franklin County Public Transportation, run by Franklin County Services for the Elderly with state federal and county funding, serves Wellsville Rantoul Lane Richmond Williamsburg Pomona Princeton Centropolis and nearby areas. Services include curb to curb trips within city limits 1 and within Franklin County 2 with 24 hour advance notice. Vehicles are handicapped accessible, pets not allowed, service animals allowed, and 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday operation. For medical transport a separate option exists with 15 dollar round trips to Topeka Garnett Lawrence Paola or Olathe and advance reservation required. Call 242-7440 or message on Facebook.
