Coffeyville fire crews respond to a house blaze that turned out to be a dog house. Owner Cornelius Slaughter Mrs. Mary J. Printy of 610 S. Jr. had extinguished the fire with a garden hose. Morgan Dies in Sheriff Office in Wellsville
Samuel Franklin Morgan 71 of near Wellsville died late yesterday afternoon in Sheriff Jay Brown's office at the courthouse. He suffered a heart attack and died after a doctor arrived. Born January 3, 1886 in Kissel Missouri, he had lived in the Wellsville area since 1946 and leaves a widow, two sons Exie and Paul, four brothers and two sisters. Funeral services are set for Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Coughlin Funeral Home Wellsville with burial in Wellsville Cemetery.

Bivins after her son Richard 10 died in a collision with a lear on highway K33 near Wellsville.
