Wellsville 270-foot tower gains planning panel support
Franklin County Planning Commission voted 5 4 to approve a conditional use permit for a 270 foot guyed wire communication tower to be built by M and P Rentals on Michael and Lisa Douglas property near Shawnee Road Wellsville. The panel attached FAA lighting compliance and annual FCC reporting. The tower to be used for cellular and pager services could host up to 50 transmitter spaces and may reduce the need for several smaller towers. The county commission still must approve the permit.
