Heights Board Plans Regular Meeting At Central Heights

The Central Heights Board of Education will hold a regular meeting at 7 30 p m Monday at the school. Items on the agenda include a bus contract for the coming year band uniforms and the FFA plus resolutions on a territory transfer a bank agreement and health insurance. Darrell Miner will attend to discuss the building project with reports from principals attorneys and the superintendent.

Water plant project nears completion in area system

The area plans continued work on a water treatment facility south of Melvern Dam serving Williamsburg Pomona Waverly Quenemo and possibly Lebo. The plant will pump one million gallons daily with 75 miles of lines, tied to a central 185 foot tower and a 500000 gallon storage, using computers and radio controls. Funding comes from a federal grant and Farmers Home Administration with no rate increase expected for Williamsburg.
