Funds Trim Losses as International Stocks Lag in 1995
Domestic index and growth and income funds led gains in the first quarter of 1995 as U S mutual funds erased 1994 losses. Foreign markets sagged with emerging markets, Latin America, and Japan underperforming while gold funds dipped as inflation talk cooled.
