Voters OK bond for new elementary in SAWATOMIE district
In Sawatomie district, voters approved bonds up to 7.895 million dollars by 767 to 732, about 45 percent turnout of 3,300 ballots. A 70,500 square foot elementary school for 600 students will replace East Elementary, with West elements to merge first and second graders, after razing the old East building.

Wellsville names Randall Renaud new principal at district high school
Randall Renaud, a 26 year Wellsville district veteran and former athletic director, is named principal of Wellsville Junior-Senior High.
