Dow Jones rose to 9040.70 at noon then closed near 17 points below. S&P 500 gained to 1124.96 while Nasdaq fell 17.05. Donor dog celebrated as lifesaving labrador
In Klamath Falls Oregon the English black Labrador retriever Jessica Rose Barclare serves as the chief blood donor at Everett Veterinary Hospital. She is the only dog on call for transfusions and has given blood about 20 times. The 70 pound hound receives an extra meal as a reward and will celebrate turning 10 with a week long party hosted by the hospital.
