Fulton Consolidated School District prepares for the 1969 70 term with about 5 000 pupils expected to attend. Volney Elementary School opens on Route 3 at a cost near 1 3 million and will enroll roughly 450 students K through six to ease East Side congestion. Junior high and high school start at 8 am while elementary students begin at 9 am. About 40 new teachers join the district as orientation for Volney School is held with board members and administrators.

Pathfinder Club Plans Busy Sunday in Fulton
