New York Nears Pass of Pot Decriminalization Bill

The New York State Senate narrowly approved a pot decriminalization bill by a 32 to 28 vote after hours of debate, moving toward Governor Carey for signature. Oswego County Building Site Decision Tonight

At its meeting tonight the Oswego County Legislature may decide where to locate a new county building. Two sites under serious consideration are the Jail Farm on Route 57 and land north of the Holiday Harbor Hotel. The long history of building proposals dates back to 1974 with space studies and several referendums aimed at moving the county seat or funding a new facility.

Son of Sam killer hunt widens as reward offered
