Oswego Aldermen Adjourn Zoning Hearing Reject Low Fire Station Bids

Oswego aldermen adjourned after rejecting two low fire station bids from William J. King and Charles Harrington. Despite earlier appraisals of $13,000 and $11,000 for the Engine House and Hook & Ladder property, the council deemed the $10,000 total offer insufficient and planned a new auction next month. The meeting also addressed a Hillside Avenue zoning change request by Thomas Quigley, planning-board submissions, and a move to reduce July August council meetings to once monthly.
