Land Developer's Plans May Make or Break Adirondack Agency
Adirondack Park Agency member Peter S Paine Jr warned at St Lawrence University that Horizon Corp of Tucson plans for a 6000 to 10000 unit vacation project could determine the agency s survival. The firm has bought 13000 acres in Colton Town and has yet to file final plans as the agency drafts a master plan for private lands to be submitted to the governor and legislature next year. Paine argued the project raises fundamental questions central to the agency s mission to curb excessive development.
