Obituary of Fulton resident Robert Somers Sr.
Robert Somers Sr., 80, of Fulton died Sunday June 9 2013 at Crouse Hospital Syracuse. A life Fulton resident he served in the Army during the Korean conflict. He was a former Fulton city police officer and a long time employee of Container Corporation of America. He served on the Fulton City School District Board of Education and was a former 1st Ward alderman. A Holy Family St. Michael's Church parishioner he volunteered as an usher and bingo worker and co chaired activities for years.
