MACS Band In Holiday Parade at New Haven
The MACS Band directed by Sheldon Blank provided music for the Memorial Day parade in New Haven and performed on the United Methodist Church lawn after ceremonies. Rev. Robert DeWalt spoke at the Soldiers Monument. Oscar Berry led the parade as marshal. Prizes awarded for floats and bicycles named local groups and youths. Memorial Day guests of the Waterbury family included Mr. and Mrs. Robert Beare and relatives, with a picnic later.
