Jaycees Seek More Funds for Oswego Fourth of July
Oswego Jaycees plan a three day callback canvass June 10 11 12 to raise funds for the 9000 budget Fourth of July celebration. Canvass chair TM Man Peter Hansen said many households were not home May 26 and volunteers will try to reach them early next week. Donations can be made by calling the Jaycees at 342-9774 or 342-1750 between 6:30 and 8:30 p.m. This year’s activities include a large parade baton twirling drum corps march exhibitions and a giant fireworks display with the rest funded by industry business and government gifts.
