Oswego Civic Arts Center to Open June Fourth at Fort Ontario
Oswego announces the grand opening of the Civic Arts Center at Fort Ontario on Thursday June 4 at 8 p m with an open house for public officials. Mayor Ralph Shapiro and aldermen invited. The event includes a theater exhibit on early American stages the Academy of Music and Richardson Theater and a second floor gallery showing Yesterday and Today paintings.

Parish marks 64th anniversary of Evangelist Church
Parishioners of the Church of the Evangelist commemorate the 64th anniversary. The cornerstone was laid June 1 1850 and Rev George H Horne was the first rector. The old Oswego County Courthouse once served as a church and now forms part of the parish house with its furnishings and windows.

Memorial Day Parade Draws Thousands in Oswego

Old Age Pension Plan Crashed in House Vote
