It relayed Maine to Vice President Lyndon B Johnson and, with two way calls, offered a 1000 word a minute news stream from space. Climber Dies After Fall On Middle Teton

One mountain climber was killed and another injured Tuesday when they fell on 12,798 foot Middle Teton in Grand Teton National Park. Park Service officials withheld names pending notification of relatives. It was not known how the accident occurred.

$700000 Art Stolen From London Gallery

A private O'Hana Art Gallery in Mayfair reports the theft of 35 modern artworks valued at $700,000. Thieves forced a rear door to enter, marking the largest English art theft since last August’s Goya heist at the National Gallery.
