Engine Fails as Plane Flips on Landing
Dr James Nelsen member of the Wisconsin board of regents and Green Bay Packers physician escaped injury when his Cessna 206 owned by Green Bay Aviation flipped during a forced landing at Winnebago County Airport. Returning from a Madison regents meeting the engine failed about three miles from the airfield and the craft hit short of the southwest runway. The nose wheel struck mud causing the nose to lift and the airplane overturn. The majorly damaged craft was reported at 6 05 pm.
