Cold Front Moves Into N W Wisconsin
A cold front moved into northwestern Wisconsin Monday night bringing a line of thunderstorms across the state. The storm delivered brilliant lightning and loud thunder with wind gusts up to 123 mph snapping branches in Milwaukee. Rainfall was moderate overall, but Superior logged 1.13 inches and Milwaukee area stations reported over an inch at several sites. Milwaukee General Mitchell Field recorded .36 inch. Burling ton .27. Park Falls .17. Lone Rock remained unreadable.
