Menasha South, winner of the Wisconsin State Little League title with a 7-4 victory over Ironwood Mich, was greeted by hundreds in Menasha downtown. Mayor John Klein and Police Chief Lester Clark welcomed the team at the Menasha Hotel after their bus arrival around 6 50 p m. Coaches Larry Marquardt and Ralph Mueller praised the players as fans cheered during the homecoming celebration and plans were announced for the National District Tournament in Jefferson Town.

Two Car Crash Sends Two to Theda Clark Hospital
In Neenah at 1:15 p.m Sunday a two car collision at S Commercial Street and Forest Avenue sent Mrs David Chapleau and her daughter Kathleen to Theda Clark Memorial Hospital by fire department ambulance after emergency treatment they were released. The driver Mrs Helen Grippo was not injured and the other occupants were advised to seek physicians. A second incident on West Doty Avenue near Jandrey's parking lot injured three people Charles E Levick William Treimann and Margaret Ann Treimann none seriously. A separate Reed Street crossing crash caused minor damage as Eunice Long backed into Richard Klem no injuries reported.
