Through tickets sold at Osceola depot for all points east. Daily except Sunday and daily except Saturday service. Freight includes Wheat Corn Oats Rye Cattle Hogs and grain stock. Corrected information appears from Nelson Bros Provisions and A. O Nenson.
Osceola updates include Miss Charlotta Saunders traveling to Omaha for business college, Miss Daisy Powers visiting St Edwards and returning from Lincoln, and Miss Millie Peterson going to Lincoln for dressmaking. Local exchanges mention Mrs Grace Hurlburd, Frank Fuller’s visit, and many residents heading to Omaha or Lincoln for work, school, or visiting family.
Yesterday evening at seven o clock the wedding of Albert Hahn to Pearl Mickey took place at the bride's father's home seven miles north of Osceola. Rev Gideon performed the ceremony with Nellie Mickey playing the wedding march. The couple will begin housekeeping on the Valley, where Hahn owns a fine farm.
Julius Hermann died at his home five miles north of Osceola last Sunday evening at 7 of typhoid fever after a two week illness. Funeral services were held yesterday with a house service at 10 and later at the German M E church led by Rev. A J Ross and Rev. J Timm. The deceased, born July 3 1862 in Abhnstadt Germany, was 37 and a longtime resident of the county. He leaves a wife Emma Sidlingmack born in Cleveland in 1894, two children, an aged father, five sisters and three brothers. He was a member of the German M E church and well respected.
The shop announces a wide range of fall and winter millinery at One Door North of Monson's with new goods arriving regularly. Dressmaking, pleating, trimming, and dress alterations priced to suit the public, signed by Mrs. D. B. Eaton.
All persons knowing themselves in debted to G. F. Neugent are urged to call at the City meat market to settle. CraBILL & Gray, successor to G. F. Neugent.
Margaret McCune married John Wesley Wilson in a quiet ceremony at the bride’s parents home. Rev J H Presson officiated at six, with Charlotta Saunders playing the wedding march. The couple plans to return from Denver after a week, then be at home after October 15.
A consumer rights message blasts a proposed trust in the Osceola area urging patrons to support local mills and small producers. The notice warns that stockholders seek big profits at consumers’ expense, promising price cuts now but higher costs later and urging patronage of home mills to preserve competition and living profits.

The property includes Southeast quarter of section 32 township 15 north range 2 and Northwest quarter of section 5 township 14 north range 2. Sale at Osceola County Courthouse October 14 1899 at 1 pm to raise up to 5510 dollars. Administrator Samuel W. Gusher announces sale remains open one hour.
