Norton Receives Four Year Heart Pin At Nebraska Meet

Osceola and surrounding districts resume classes after closures caused by a severe flu outbreak. Superintendent Bugbee says about 25 percent of students were absent at midweek as attendance slowly improves, with grade schools hit hardest. Stromsburg schools closed. Silver Creek hit hard but not closed. football games against Silver Creek-Osceola and Clarks-Osceola postponed to November 12 or canceled.
