Osceola residents hear of Romine Dental Co visits on November 2 3 and 4 with office at Pratt hotel. The Osceola school board hires Grace Pratt. two teachers added to ease crowding. Other items include saloon license granted to Frank Ferguson, Odd Fellows deputy grand master P C Johnson, and fall millinery from North Side Millinery with dressmaking services offered.
The Osceola wedding of Ada Bertha Courtney to Joseph Crabill occurred October 25 1899 at the bride’s parents home with Rev L F Smith officiating. About eighty guests attended the ceremony and a late supper followed. The couple, both prominent locals, received many gifts and will reside in Osceola.
A union gathering of all churches in Caceola to discuss temperance features occurs Sunday evening at 8 30 in the M E church. The program includes songs by the choir and male quartet with congregation chorus, recitation by Miss Fannie Adams, and addresses by Rev J W Swan and Rev Ross with invocations and benediction.
