Dr. Leigh Womble a Mitchell physician formerly of Omaha died after a hunting accident near Scottsbluff while pheasant hunting with John Ayars Rev Laurence Dry and Frank Reed all of Mitchell The gun fired as Ayars swung toward birds wounding Womble who died en route to Scottsbluff hospital He was married August to Alice Perry of Omaha and is survived by his wife and parents

Miss Gladys Matthes had tonsils removed by Dr Harley Eklund. Arde Eklund of Gresham had appendicitis operation yesterday. Dr Harley Eklund performed the operation. He is the doctor's brother. Wm Sternberg had his tonsils removed at Osceola Hospital on Saturday by Dr Eklund.

Miss Adaline Swertzic Weds Frank Stanczyk at Krakow Church

Miss Adaline Swertzic daughter of Mr and Mrs John Swertzic of west of Silver Creek married Frank Stanczyk son of Mrs Rose Stanczyk at 8 30 Tuesday morning October 16 in Krakow Church. The double ring ceremony featured a white satin dress and a bouquet of snapdragons and carnations. A wedding breakfast followed.
