Polk County Nebraska publishes a legal notice package detailing a fake probate petition for Betsy H. Dickens in Osceola with hearing set for October 31 1972, plus road design approval for County Federal-aid Secondary Project S-1024 1 Osceola North. The notice lists officials, financial disbursements, and a county board meeting with cadastral maps proposals and adjournment.
Edward R. DeLand born October 13 1881 in Christian County Missouri died October 5 1972 at Annie Jeffrey Memorial County Hospital just shy of his 91st birthday. He moved to Nebraska in 1885 and lived in Osceola except for a period in Omaha. A mason by trade he worked until shortly before his death. Survived by sister K D Lottie Fendorf of Kearney and many nephews nieces and cousins. funeral at Kepner Roberts with Rev Truman Bachenberg officiating and Osceola Cemetery interment. Also notes attendance at the 4th District Convention of the Royal Neighbors of America in York with several Osceola members.
