Bobby Lee Mickey born April 14 1931 in Polk County to John G and Ethel Mickey died September 27 1973 at Reno Nevada age 42 He grew up near Osceola attended Dist 7 school and Silver Creek High School class of 1948 He served four years in the submarine division U S Navy during the Korean conflict He was preceded in death by his parents survived by seven sisters and four brothers fifteen nieces and nephews and many friends Funeral services were conducted by Rev Truman Bachenberg Monday afternoon in the United Methodist Church

A Osceola church service featured music by Ceva Eller and Carol Krieger. Escorts included Ronnie Carlson Bill Ferris Richard McCormick Jack Wieseman Mike McCormick and Bill Wyman. Burial was at Osceola cemetery with William Wolfe Post 91 military honors. Sunday visitors at Merton Flodman’s home were Ronnie Graham and Bill Lofquest from Columbus.
