Karen Stevens Gail Giles and Dee Willits will perform several trio numbers on the Joe Martin Show from KOLN TV Sunday night December 1 at 10 30 PM. They have earned superior ratings in high school music and were runners up at the Nebraska Farm Bureau Convention Young Adult Talent Fund in Lincoln last week.

Extension club plans annual dinner and meeting
Seventeen members of the Friends and Neighbors Extension club met at the home of Mrs. Wayne Augustin. Roll call was holiday traditions with two guests, Kathy Schneider and Mrs. Kenneth Hopwood. The annual dinner with Mrs. Jack Malek is set for Dec. 18 at 7 pm, after a planning meeting on Dec. 4. Members made pomander balls and were served lunch.

New ownership maps of Polk County are printed and on sale at the County Clerk's office for 1.00 each. A limited supply of the newly published County Atlas is available for 20.00 each.

Anniversary of St Paul Lutheran Church marked in Osceola
The 60th anniversary program at St Paul Lutheran Church in Osceola was held on November 14 with choir performances. Pastor Farstrup spoke for the Nebraska Synod. Four former pastors sent tape greetings. Philip Nyberg spoke on stewardship and the building fund. The offering reached 3600 dollars, reducing debt to about 8500. LCW ladies hosted coffee after 210 attendees.
