Local shop touts fall apparel with mens and childrens wear featuring all wool Frieze Ulster coats priced at $10. The notice urges patrons to visit the store before stock runs out and highlights cold weather readiness.
Local notices report small snow, residents traveling to Lincoln and York for business, and a change in passenger train times. Community events include Daughters of Rebekah meeting, Union Thanksgiving services, a sheriff reference, missing livestock notices, a public clubbing offer, and a large farewell move of H. Bonner to Oklahoma after years in Polk County.
Despite severe weather the High School room filled as teachers arrived from up to fifteen miles. Twelve topics were discussed and eight schools reported near sufficient funds for libraries. County association districts may form at the next meeting with Prof. Baettie and principals leading.
The audience praised Jim for his strong command of facts and logic as difficulties dissolved before him. The Osceola male quartet performed two beautiful pieces, earning hearty applause and warm praise from the lecturer.

All members are asked to meet at 6 A. R. Hall on Saturday next the 14th at 3 p.m. Attendance is required for important business. Also on Thursday evening the 19th the inspecting officer will be here, and all are requested to be present. By order of Pres. W. BR. C.
