Funkhouser Couple Celebrate Golden Wedding Progress
William and Sarah Funkhouser marked fifty years of marriage at their Shelby County home. Born in 1841 and 1841 respectively, they wed November 1 1866 in Daxton Illinois then moved to Polk Nebraska. They have twelve children and were joined by grandchildren and relatives from Illinois, Minnesota, California and Nebraska in a large gold wrapped celebration with dinner and gifts.
