Decoration Day Observances Planned by Veterans Groups

Friday May 30 at 1 30 p m members of Grand Army Women’s Relief Corps Sons of Veterans and Soldiers of the Spanish and Philippine Wars with children will meet at the G A R hall at 1 00 pm and march to the M E Church for services led by the Male Chorus. The program includes Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address America and Nearer My God to Thee, an oration by Hon H W Davin, a decoration of 22 graves including 21 Civil War soldiers and one Spanish War casualty, and a firing salute at the cemetery with taps by hand.
