Examinations Set for Eight Grade At Three High Schools

The eighth grade exams will be held at Stromsburg Osceola and Shelby high school buildings on Saturday May 25 starting at nine o clock. The program lists arithmetic physiology reading agriculture mental arithmetic spelling geography history composition grammar and includes Wilhelmina Rydberg as superintendent.

Travelers from York Visit Ericks on Platte Road Detour

Runaway Wagon Injures Youngdahl Family Near School

Last Friday Miss Florence Wescoat's school district 31 closing exercises witnessed a wagon runaway. The Youngdahl family and three children were thrown when the yoke failed and the tongue pierced the bank. Mr Youngdahl sprained shoulder and bruises, Mrs Youngdahl slight injuries, children unhurt. Team captured by Fred Wendt down the road.
