General call for Republican fundraising across Nebraska as campaigns begin in 1900. Letters describe the engagement on Passig Road in the Philippines with Company M, the fight, injuries, patrols, and the search for insurgents, along with family news and anticipated orders sending battalions home.
Notices sent to Osceola Nebraska taxpayers detail estimated levies for 1900 including General fund 318 Fire protection 180 Street fund 127 and street lighting 318. The Board of Trustees will meet Friday May 25 1900 at 7 36 pm to fix the levies. Dated May 2 1990.

D H Kunkel promotes a large wallpaper stock with a wide variety at attractive prices. The note invites customers to visit before buying and to request figures.
The proprietors of Dr Kings New Discovery for Consumption Coughs and Colds have given away over ten million trial bottles and claim it cures asthma bronchitis la grippe and all throat chest and lung diseases. D H Kunkle, a druggist, offers free trial bottles with regular sizes 50 cents and 1 dollar, each guaranteed.
A six month old estray was found at an address around April 20. The owner may reclaim by proving ownership and paying charges, according to F. IL. Pearce.
Public notice lists letters and postal cards uncalled for at the Asceola Nebraska post office for the week ending May 10 1900. Names include H A Fox Mr W D Sheetz Mr W Crou sher Mrs Jennie Williams Miss Hanns Jansson Henry H Camplexy. Also an ad for Dr King s New Life Pills claims headache relief and health benefits with a 25 cent price.
Mrs. D. N. Sinks of Troy Ohio reports severe rheumatism in arm and shoulder eased quickly by Chamberlains Pain Balm after recommendations from Geo F Parsons & Co druggists. She bought a bottle and was soon free of pain and has since advised many friends. For sale by G T Ray & Co.
