The annual OHS Alumni banquet will be held in the high school auditorium on May 29 starting at 6 30 p m. President Paul Monson says the program will be top notch and a strong band has been secured for the dance afterward. Reservations are encouraged for planning. The meal is to be served by the Lutheran Ladies Aid. Officers urge members to update addresses and call Marian Boden with changes. Other officers include Mrs Earl Watts vice president Howard Boden treasurer and Mrs Fred Wieseman mauling.

Last Saturday from three to five Osceola Brownies hosted a Mother and Daughter Tea at St. Paul Lutheran Church. The event featured skits, musical numbers, readings by four troops, and a presentation of the official Brownie flag by Linda Meister, president of troop 233. A lunch followed with mothers at the table, served by Mrs. Sheldon Bond and Mrs. Bert Gissler, punch poured by Mrs. Roy Trotter, and coffee by Mrs. R. V. Johnson. The afternoon ended with a marching drill by the Brownies and a mothers’ business meeting.
