Nebraska to receive $3 million in federal road funds this summer
Lincoln state engineer John W. Hossack said Nebraska will gain about 3 million dollars in unfrozen federal highway money this summer, with half of the previously cut funds restored to proceed on scheduled projects in Omaha and around the Big Springs area. He noted the change stems from 1967 appropriations rather than actual spending and discussed potential urban roadway expansion funding.
