Fatal Osceola Shelby Auto Wreck Kills One Injures Several
A high speed collision near the Fred Rsch farm in Clear Creek precinct killed James J. Jordon and injured his wife and others. The Ford touring car struck a buggy, rolled over, and trapped victims. Coroner Maas handled the case as families moved toward recovery with funeral services held for Mr Jordon.

Funeral for Jomun Olson Held at Swede Plain
The funeral for Jomun Olson was held at Swede Plain last Saturday afternoon. He died at his home in Loup City where he had lived for several years. He was a brother of Arvid Olson who resided northwest of Polk and another brother August now living in Canada. Remains were brought to Polk Friday. The deceased was 60 years old.
