Oratorical and Musical Contests Held at Local Methodist Church
Series of contests begins May 17 with orations and music at the Methodist church. Four contests run May 17 May 24 May 31 and June 14 with 32 high school entrants. Prizes include silver medals for the first three orations and a gold medal for the final event. medalists in the silver tier may enter the gold contest. The musical contest on May 17 features quartets. each member of the winning quartet receives a silver medal. Admission is 15 cents, with net proceeds to missions.
