Beautiful new farm home near Osceola completed

Albert Croissa’s new farm house three miles east of Osceola is finished and furnished. Mr and Mrs Croissant moved in April 4. The two story 32 by 26 foot house has eight rooms with a half basement. Inside work is elegant with attractive papering and finish. Mrs Croissant, formerly Lida Henderson of Surprise, and her husband were married February 23 at David Guy and have begun housekeeping there.

Polk Groom Weds Miss Stank in Lincoln

The wedding of Albert Sendberg of Polk to Miss May Stank of Hamilton County occurred in Lincoln last Wednesday with a reception at the groom’s parents home, Mr and Mrs Henry Sendberg. Sendberg runs Sundberg and Son Hardware. the bride is well known locally and highly regarded. The Record joins well wishers.

Polk County Farms Sell Well

John Monson bought two Polk County farms west of town, the J. E. Holt eighty at 200 dollars an acre and the Young eighty at 150 dollars an acre excluding the Young residence. Possession deferred until March. Negotiated by P. A. Nelson. Holt and Young undecided about future plans. Monson is a well to do young farmer living northwest of the city.

Delegates Meet in Osceola Nebraska May Event

Delegates and visitors from various auxiliaries of the W FL MM in Nebraska will convene at Osceola on May 24. A large portion of the program will be in German, with the Wednesday evening missionary service conducted in English at the Presbyterian church. A committee meeting is to be attended by those present.
