Mr and Mrs Paul Monson and Dr and Mrs W F Monson were Osceola Nebraska visitors in Omaha. A City Council meeting occurred on March 22, 1949 at 7 30 P M following adjournment and attendance at the Ice Capades.
City officials met with Mayor Craven and councilmen on March 3 1949 to hear remonstrances on On and Off Sale beer licenses for Maleks Cafe John and George Malek Floyd Headlee East Side Recreation E J Swanson and Axel L Forsberg and the Legion Club The council set April 7 1949 for hearings and directed advertising of delinquent cemetery lot purchases The motion carried with McDonald Siger Malek Monson voting yea and the meeting adjourned City Clerk T V Hamilton
Osceola Nebr city plans sale of delinquent lots and fractions at the cemetery after June 15 1949 unless unpaid. The notice lists numerous lot and owner names including Sam Adkins Chas Anderson E C Angle J E Baker Rufus Burritt and others with an official seal and dates March 31 April 7 14.
