Burglars Crack Till at Murburger Restaurant
Last Monday night burglars pried open the front door with a railroad spike and took about 35 dollars from the till. The $5 in silver was left behind and stock remained untouched. The family retired upstairs and learned of the break only in the morning. Local talent is credited with the job.

Emsley Foland died after a brief illness in Osceola Nebraska on March 26 1898 born December 2 1831 in Henry County near Hagerstown Indiana moved from Indiana to Fairfield Iowa then Omaha before settling in Osceola where he married Mrs Susan Hartman in January last He joined the Methodist Episcopal church 33 years ago and died with faith in his life Three daughters from a former marriage survive two in Omaha and one in Denver plus Mrs T J Evans and Mrs J M Sirplegss attendance at the funeral Rev L F Smith preached the service with Odd Fellows and Rebekah members present the Osceola lodge had awards and the family received sympathy notes from friends
