Advertisements trumpet discounts at Scott's cyclone store Gen R Mecoy's harness shop and G T Ray & Co. Wall paper paints and patterns featured. A Polk County nursery promote reduced stock while Mrs H McDonald dies and Rev Adams to preach. A surge of farm tree sales urges residents to inspect stock and plant new orchards locally.
