Intramural action, contests and festivals highlight week
Students prepared for state tournament Friday while intramural basketball sat idle. Marilyn Block of North Bend will represent the district in the Ameri can Legion Oratorical state contest. Movies shown include Magazine Magine and Thirsty Acres. The Tournament of Roses parade film from Pasadena accompanied a grade school audience. A brief band concert followed. Seniors rehearsed Life With Mama. freshmen and sophomores worked on bake and sewing projects. Jokes fooled the juniors as seniors teased them into a loud assembly. District music contest lands in Fullerton April 14 and Goldenrod Music Festival fills Osceola April 1 with bands glee clubs and solos.
