Richards Celebrate Fifty Second Wedding Anniversary at Home
Mr and Mrs J T D Richards observed their fifty second anniversary at Hard Scrabble Farm four miles north of Osceola on March 19. Family members included four sons two daughters spouses twenty six grandchildren and four others. A cake with a hidden paper awarded a five dollar gold piece to the finder and each child received a fifty two dollar check while others got silver dollars.

Walter Francis Morys infant son of Mr and Mrs Walter Morys of Osceola Nebraska was born June 22 1925 and died March 20 1927 at age 1 year 8 months and 28 days after illnesses from pneumonia tonsillitis and diphtheria like infection. Funeral held at the farm home near Osceola conducted by Rev Collier with interment in Osceola cemetery. Survived by parents two brothers Louie Adolf and three sisters Rose Victoria and Carrie.
