Madison store closing sale teased during Osceola week

Marshal J D Edwards and attorneys E E Stanton and John Tongue visited Osceola in the week. Alma A Woods of Omaha stayed with Col and Mrs G W West. Monson advertises a colossal sale around the 20th with a final closing out sale to follow on or about March 26. Clyde Ward opens on the square for shaves and hair cuts. The auction last Saturday drew good crowd and may become a regular event. County work was steady and the treasurer's accounts were found correct. Further details promised.

Sixth Shiloh Survivors Reunion Planned in Seward Neb

The sixth annual reunion of Battle of Shiloh survivors will be held April 6 and 7 1898 in Seward Nebraska to mark the thirty sixth anniversary. Veterans statewide urged to attend with families as notable speakers are promised.
