Edwin Alfred Johnson a 66 year old Osceola resident living in Omaha since October and working as a machinist at Tinian Pacific shops died from injuries after being struck by a car at Thirteen Street and Vinton Avenue about 2 am. A seven pound baby girl arrived Tuesday morning February 27 to Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Kropatsch. Mrs. Roy Hartson of Shelby was admitted Friday for medical care. Anton Micek of near Columbus was a medical patient last week and returned home Monday. Mrs. John Cutsor of the valley had surgery Saturday morning. Jacob Micek Jr. entered with pneumonia and is improving.

Pete Seberger Dies Sudden in West Shelby Home
Peter Seberger, 75, died suddenly at his west Shelby home on Thursday morning February 22 while shoveling snow. He was in his usual health prior to the incident. He is survived by his widow, three sons and three daughters. Funeral services were held Monday at Sacred Heart Church with burial in Shelby Catholic Cemetery.
