George Thomas of Osceola died Saturday at 3 15 after falling ill on a visit to Shelby. Born September 19 1857 in Champaign County Illinois he joined the U B Church in 1880 and later moved to Nebraska. He leaves a daughter and a bereaved family including his mother and several siblings. Funeral services were conducted at the M E church under Modern Woodmen auspices, with Rev J W Swan and Rev W R Adams officiating.
